The European Programme of Work (EPW) sets out a vision of how the WHO Regional Office for Europe can support countries in our region better in meeting citizens' expectations about health. It aligns the work of WHO/Europe with the triple billion targets, while supporting countries in their commitments to implement the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Global Action Plan for Healthy Lives and Well-Being for All.

For the second year in a row, the annual session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe will be held virtually due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Health ministers and high-level representatives of the 53 Member States of the WHO European Region as well as partner organizations and civil society will meet virtually to discuss current health issues and set the direction for future activities.
